Safflower Seed Oil helps seal in moisture and creates a protective barrier against dryness. Seed oils are fruit/vegetable oils that are obtained from the seeds of plants, rather than the fruit. Seed oils are excellent for the lips, given their high fatty acid content and other nutritious components, such as vitamins and protective antioxidants. Safflower Seed Oil helps “seal in” moisture on the lips’ surface, preventing TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and creating a protective mantle against dryness.
